In a consumer capitalist-driven society we are constantly on the go. The acceptable lifestyles aren't ones that consist of stillness, reflection, and deeper self-awareness. It's time people take their power back.
What does this power look like? It is very different for many but share common foundations. The main one being the balancing of introversion and extroversion. In a society where enough never seems to be enough we find ourselves looking to produce 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We rarely have time to implement self-care which is the essential foundation of success.
There are a variety of approaches to self-care that are geared to specific areas of what makes you a person. Your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health are the makeup of a true dis-ease free human being. For many, the use of cannabis with the practice of yoga is incredibly transformative. Yogis' have celebrated the benefits of cannabis for thousands of years. It calms the mind and detaches you from anxious intrusive thoughts. It eases pain and inflammation and aids in the healing of diseases such as cancer, post-traumatic stress disorder as well as Crohn's disease.
Incorporating cannabis with yoga practice can enhance one's spirituality along with their mind-body connection. Overall the use of both of these powerhouse traditional wellness tools can boost self-awareness. When we are aware of ourselves we allow our true nature to take center stage.
